The world we live in is in the process of being turned upside down. Pollution, Microplastics, Deforestation and Climate Change are driving our collective home to a point of no return. What kind of home are we leaving for future generations?

The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) has compounded research released in the 2018 IPCC report, stating that 20 of the warmest years on record have occurred in the last 22 years. As a result, more than 1 million species are at risk of extinction and the worst impacts of climate change could be irreversible by as soon as 2030.

Just as we who live on Earth are the reason for it’s decline we too are the only ones who hold the key to change. It is up to us to solve this problem before it is too late. It is time we stood up and took action – let’s become part of the solution and not the problem.

How do we start doing this? Reducing our carbon footprint is the single most positive change we can make, but the movement towards change is far slower than the time we have remaining.

The tools that we associate with fighting climate change are not fit for purpose. We live in a world where discussing climate change and pollution seems more important than doing anything about it. What if that changed and those of us who care became empowered?
